Western Union (WU) could be the best option to cash out your adsense money fast. I just noticed the new option today and have actually opted for it for next payment. We, in Malaysia should be lucky as our country are among 9 countries who actually has this facility.
The only concern now is how fast I can get my money ?, the cost ? and how to get it. Before I opt for this method of payment, I have done the following search in Adsense Blog and also Help Centre :
- I have checked nearest western Union in my place which is RHB KL Sentral.
- Currency and Exchange Rate use, basically will be in USD
- Google or Western Union will notify you on the money when its ready for collection. You will then have to go to nearest WU agent for withdrawal.
How to opt for Western Union ?
Simple step need to be followed, log in to your adsense account and then go to My Account and click Payment Details where you can see various options for payment and choose Western Union.

I personally use CIMB Bank to pick up my payment. All I need to do is complete the receive payment form and produce a photocopy of my IC. With the MTCN supplied, I don’t even have to put in Google’s full address/phone/amount – I guess the teller is familiar with the routine already.
While the payment is in US dollars, I could have it converted into Malaysian Ringgit and pick up as cash or have it deposited into my bank account. Quick and easy.
