Macbook Battery Drain ?
Battery drain ? This problem happen to me 2 weeks before my warranty expire. The battery icon in the menu bar suddenly displaying X symbol. I never expect this can happen to MAC but through my reading on the net, this problem is nothing new to Apple.
So since I only realise this problem 1 day before I fly to UK, nothing much that I can do. But I did some phone call whether this problem covered under warranty or not. In London, I did some survey as well and the price over there is 99pound, while the cost in Singapore only RM550++. Unfortunately I am not sure how much they sell it in Malaysia.
Since the cost is not cheap, upon my return from London, I sent my Macbook battery to Machines and 1 week ++ later they replaced new battery. One thing good about Machines was eventhough without original receipt ( don’t know where), they still accept my complaint and through their system, they manage to find me 
The bad things was they took more than 1 week to replace it eventhough this problem is common to apple product, not to mention my email to them to follow up on the status.
Anyway, one thing all MAC user out there need to remember, this X symptom can be easily avoided by shutting your Macbook down if you won’t be using it for more than a day.
