The new third-generation Honda City compact sedan comes with style, performance and practicality. This Honda City is manufactured in Melaka Plant with 30% of the part locally sourced and the rest of course from Japan.
This City adopts what Honda calls an ‘Arrowshot Form’ design outlook from end-to-end. You can find similar design in other model as well. For your information this anothr strategy used by many car manufaturer so that all their model will bring same similarity in design. But for this City, the rear design is just like BMW.

I am wonder is Malaysian will talk about this just like they condemned Saga BLM vs Mercedes design.
They are to variants for City which called Grade E and S. Grade E comes with additional paddle shifters, rear reclining seats with an underseat tray and 16-inch sport alloy wheels.

Honda has developed 4-cylinder 1.5l i-VTC engine which delivered good 120bhp at 6,000rpm and 145Nm of torque at 4,800rpm. All variants will use this engine.
The i-VTEC engine is mated with a five-speed automatic transmission with Shift Hold Control and is the first in its class
Others features comes as standard are :
- EPS (Electric Power Steering)
- dual SRS airbags and
- front seatbelt pre-tensioners and load limiters.
- ABS (anti-lock braking system) with EBD Electronic Brake Force Distribution + BA (Brake Assist) amplifies the driver’s foot force with minimal pedal input.
You will have 5 colours to choose from Alabaster Silver Metallic, Bold Beige Metallic, Polished Metal Metallic, Crystal Black Pearl and Deep Lapis Blue Metallic.

The price for this 2 variants on the road, with insurance and comes with a three-year warranty or 100,000km and six months free service or 10,000km, whichever comes first.:
- 1.5L Grade S – RM84,980
- 1.5L Grade E – RM89.980
The famous blogger LiewCf has also decided to have one, how about you. For me, to bad always Toyota eventhough I am pretty attractive to Euro R.

sebenarnye aku dah pon booking 4jan lepas n test drive 20jan…nasib baikla aku bersabar jugaj tggu city ni kuar. mmg aku bajet nak ambik kete awal tahun 2009,tapi pada mase tu yang ade dalam kepala aku cuma vios (s), livina (1.6), latio (m) n waja cps….n semua krete ni aku dah pun test. bile test city baru ni, aku rase lain skit daripada yang lain…tapi mase tu aku cuma bandingkan antara latio n city ni jer. latio pun mmg selesa, tapi design luar n dalam cam x kene plak ngan jiwa aku…lagipun, aku fkir latio 1.6 tapi just bole cecah 109ps jer…better aku pilih city jer.kalau ade masalah enjin sekalipun, aku ade banyak pilihan lain, mybe leh tukar ngan enjin 1.8 i-vtec ker…berbanding ngan latio, xbanyak yang boleh aku update suatu hari nanti.cuma satu yang aku lemah skit pada city ni,iaitu bahagian getah pada pintu. ianya terlalu lembut n senang koyak,n ruangan pintu belakang memang sukar skit untuk orang tinggi spt aku ni masuk k dalam…anyway, aku baru je dapat call dari dealer, katenya kete aku mybe kan dapat bulan4 ni,walaupun dalam booking form aku dijanggka kan dapat bulan6. kalau nak book, better book sekarang sbb,aku dengar interest mybank dah pon turun k 2.35 skarang ni…daripada mase aku book tu interest masih lagi 2.84. xctually aku book version E spec…mulanya cuma nak ambik S spec, tapi kalau fikirkan banyak sangat aksesori n kelebihan yang ade pada spec E. bandingan pun just untuk rm5K,so better ambik yang terus lengkap daripada menyesal kemudian hari nanti….untuk bodykit, aku tengok mmg gempak, tapi rasenya tak bebaloi pun kalau beli yang original.better aku tunggu dulu, aku percaya pasni macam2 jenisla bodykit yang kan muncul dalam pasaran luar.

Dear Honda
I write to you to notify an upset incident happen to me & Honda Malaysia, or perhaps Honda as whole.
My Honda City with 3 years old has suffers of gear box problem. Now only I know that Honda’s standard has dropped & produce lousy car. This is a big shame to Honda.
The reasons I said that are:
1. the usage of this car is less than 80,000km,
2. the age of this car is only 3 years plus,
3. this car has good maintenance & good services record with Honda services centers,
4. gear oil has been changed by Honda service center as per Honda recommended schedule,
5. zero modification to the said car,
6. the lifespan of a Honda city gear box shall never as short as my car,
7. Honda never built this type of lousy & low quality product,
8. A RM80,000 Honda car shouldn’t last only 3 years plus, this is a big shame to Honda,
9. The gear box of +- RM20,000 is too expensive, moreover this car is only 3 years plus old, and
10. the more important thing is this problem has been reported to Honda Malaysia 3 weeks ago, and the case remain unresolved. My whole family is taking risk of life by driving a problematic new Honda car everyday.
I didn’t aspect a new one, but at lease a good attitude toward the case. I don’t mind a re-con gear box as replacement. At lease I still believe Honda is responsible to their product as well as their customer.
My family has four Honda cars and we like Honda so much. But after this incident, we will never go to Honda again unless Honda gives me back the hope.
I really hope Honda give me a hand in this case.
