How to setting up 3G USB Celcom on MacBook

Eventhough, Celcom provides a manual on how to connect their 3G USB Modem to Mac Os, the step-by-step guide here can be a good alternative as well.

1. First step you must install the driver for 3G USB Celcom Broadband, don’t plug in the USB during installation

2. Plug in the USB Celcom Broadband

3. Open system preferences > Network

4. Create Location or choose ‘Automatic’

5. Show : Huawei 3G, or whatever modem name you have

6. On the PPP : Account Name & Password just leave blank
Telephone Number : *99#

7. On the Modem : Choose the huawei driver (“Tick” the “Show Modem status in menu bar”)
Apply Now.

8. At the top right of the screen you will see the shortcut, click connect
