Genting Highlands – City of Entertainment (Great 888 Deals)
In March this year I went to Genting Highlands with my family. This was third or maybe fourth time visit since the introduction of Great 888 Deals. The offer is only RM38++ for 1 night include 2 breakfast. But read the T&C, that offer only applies if you buy the package online.
I am the unlucky one I believe, eventhough I am the World Card member I am not eligible to enjoy that 888 Deals simply because I made reservation through phone and not online. The reason because I lost my online password. So I paid RM140 nett for 1 nite at counter during check in.
Just like my previous visit, my experience this time was the worst one. Luckily, this was because of my little daughter request otherwise I will not go there.
Just like previous experience, i need to wait 3 hours to check in due to big crowd. First World Hotel has 6000++ over rooms and during peak season all are occupied. Eventhough they have many counters but still with this kind of crowd I need to wait for few hours.
My advise, don’t go during peak season as you won’t get good holiday there. Its hard to play, to take a ride, to get a free breakfast at hotel. Anyway, I share some photos for all my readers.
To find a car park was not easy. I took more than 45 minutes for it…They have thousands of car park, but the car is more than that 
When you reach the lobby you have to get the number first to check-in. That day, I que for 15 minutes.
The guest waiting for check in. If you use travel agent they will do it for you still but still after long journey, you need time to rest and to wait 1-2 hours to check-in is ridiculous.
This is the number board, mine was 1259 almost double…ha ha
I check in at 3.30pm eventhough I reached Genting 12.30 …This is my hotel room…a small room good for 2 persons.
Nothing new since my last visit in 2008…
This is the rate for the theme park. If raining, not advisable because many stuff will be closed and you will pay for nothing.
