Proton the national car manufacturer has re-confirm again that the new waja replacement which is based on Mitsubishi Lancer will be released end of 2010. Eventhough the design is nothing secret as it will be more or less look like what you can see on Lancer.
Some of the question asked is about the engine capacity and price. One of the issue is whether mitsubishi will still selling their lancer with the waja replacement introduce to market.
One of the major issue on proton car is the quality aspects. Can we expect good quality from this model just like what lancer owner had experience so far. Will the japanese monitor the production line to ensure quality. Some of internal staff said, some of first 200 units was sent to Japan for quality checking. This means that, those first 200 buyer can get best of the best from Proton for this model.
