MKC was temporarily down few days ago due to some problem with our account with the service provider Shinjiru.com.my. For those who have been following us might know that MKC was established in 2006 and since then, we have moved it from PengU.Net to Smartteam and now under VPS package from Shinjiru.com.my.
Overall server performance we are quite satisfied unfortunately they provide very poor billing system which lead to our account been suspended 2 times due to reason “no pay account”.
Just for sharing purposes, we always pay through Maybank2u and cc it to their billing@ Shinjiru.com.my with appropriate remark related to this domain. For the past 2 months, they had claimed that we didn’t pay the hosting fee and has suspended MKC. The worst part was that decision to suspend was made without any single reminder etc.
We are not sure how long we can hosted MKC with Shinjiru, but we are currently evaluating few other companies offer as well.
For those who are looking for good hosting co. we share some that we have experience with :
- Exabytes – Big co., many clients, products expensive, once you hit the limit, wait for the suspension
- ServerFreak – I am happy with this co, half of my sites with them. The owner SAM is very supportive and willing to help when you are in troubled.
- Peng-U.Net – A SME co, small, MKC was first hosted with them. Offers affordable hosting package. You can have direct contact with the owner Hafiz.
- FIVIO – Not much I can say as we have only have 1 account with them 6 years ago, we can’t really comment on their services.
- Smartteam – Closed Shop
- Shinjiru – You can review it in this post, they don’t provide support through phone. Support through email is fine, but a bit slow.
- Internet-Webhosting – We have few accounts with them few years ago but has moved to other co due to server very slow and the support service not up to the mark.
- DataKL – I am not sure how big is the co. Good support, willing to help if you have problem with server/hosting etc. I have few websites with them and recommended them to all.
