Perodua will this week launch their new Myvi variant called Myvi Extreme 1.5 for Malaysia market. The major changes on this new variant definitely the powerplant where this Myvi Extreme will be powered by 1.5litre engine. Besides that, from the photo in this post, you can obviously confirmed that this model is more sportier than the predecessor with a full body kit, revamped front end and rear spoiler.
The Myvi Extreme 1.5 is expected to hit Perodua showrooms as early as 15 September 2011. In term of pricing, Perodua havent release any info yet, but guided by the new 1.3-litre Myvi which is priced at RM50,800 (on-the-road with insurance), the consumer can expect the Myvi Extreme 1.5 pricing is more than RM60,000.
If you compare between our national car PROTON FLX which was launched recently at price RM44,998, the new Myvi Extreme 1.5 is extremely high. Anyway, the choice is at your hand, if you want bigger car at lower price go for Proton FLX, otherwise go for smaller car at price higher than bigger Proton FLX.
