Tribal Fusion the CPM advertising network finally pay me. If you can recall I have been accepted by this progamme in November 2007. With little earning of 30 - 40 dollar a month, I finally reach minimum cashout of USD100 last month and the cheque finally reached me this week.
Based on the daily earning that I get from this programme, I don’t think that I can earn more than $100/month. I don’t really know why but I could be due to non-US traffic. If advertlets really pay me as per my previous post, I would rather remove TF and focus on them.
Anyway, we wait and see in next few months what best for my websites….

I joined advertlets.com in May 2007 and only last month I tried their advertisement in my blogs. Eventhough the earning is not big as what Uncle G can pay but as start if they can pay me RM300++ a month, it will be more than enough.
Currently, if you can see in the attached account statement I have requested for cashout 2 times last month for RM185 + RM100. And for March, I got nice RM362 as at today.
So based on their payments cycle which are at the end of every month and the payments are processed 30-45 days from the end of the month which you cashed out. I most probably will get the cheque in April 2008. But do they really pay blogger ? Read Rajawang’s experience with Advertlets.
Anyway, if they really pay blogger,I believe this could be another good alternative to adsense.

After almost 1 year participate in the Advertlets programme, finally I reach first RM100 and has requested for cash out on 14/2/08. How long it takes for the RM100 to reach me ? Based on what stated in the website “Payments cycle are at the end of every month. Please note that payments are processed 30-45 days from the end of the month which you cashed out” So meaning, I most probably will receive the payment in april 2008, I hope so.
Being one of the pioneer in the business,many things they need to improve. For example, do you still remember the time where, they forgotten to renew their domain and the fact that the payment is very little which one of the reason many top blogger dropped advertlets.
I personally has dropped advertlets many times in my blog, only recently I decided to put it in until I get my first payment.
Anyway, will update when I get the payment.

After 2 months of implementing Tribal fusion , I wanna try other CPM advertising network. Its hard to get into tribal fusion network, but with more than 776,561 page view, this programme only gave me $27.
So which one is the best CPM network out there ? Trough googe search youcan find many information about the CPM. This what I have registered since yesterday, some of them require publisher to meet certain requirement such as minimun page view, traffic origin etc, so do read the FAQ :
- Traffic Marketplace I read somehere that they give highest CPM.
- ADSDAQ Easy to get into the system, unfortunately only accept US traffic
- Direct Media you can apply for many CPM networks through them.
The registration normally takes 3-4 days, so will update on any development soon.

Hong Kiat at his blog has posted very good review for those who want to choose CPM Advertisement Network. What is CPM anyway ? CPM (Cost Per thousand Impressions) Advertisement Network pay the publisher based on 1000 page/ads impression. For example if the campaign priced at $1 CPM, you would be making $1 per thousand impressions.
How about CPC ? CPC stands for cost per click (i.e Adsense) , where publisher will be paid based on number of clicks receives and CPC payments do not depend on number of impressions.
Which one is the best for a blog ? Like what you can see in many popular blogs, they normally implement both the CPC and CPM to maximise profit. Very often, the CPM programme only accepted high traffic and quality website in their programme.
My personal experience for example, i applied 3 times for the Tribal fusion and only on the 3rd time it been approved.
So back to Hong Kiat’s review, out of 21 CPM networks listed I might want to try another CPM ads for my website and based on the comments,I might wanna try CPX Interactive.

Its time to drop all refferals for adsense product. The email that I received from google explained everything. Eventhough I hardly get any $ from their refferal programme, but such move by google for me will hit badly publisher who have been enjoying income from their refferal programme. However, as per the email said, only certain publisher will get affected on the new rules.

I got it just now the highest payment from Text-Link for December 2007 and I have opted this time payment to my paypal. Eventhough the payment is so little, but at least $28.32 can cover few of my domains.
Eventhough many of bloggers has dropped text link ads but I still maintain it as long as I get good advertiser and 1 think you should know the web is only PR3, nothing to shout about.

Have you heard about Kontera’s affiliate programme ? I never thought that they have such programme because I can’t see any button or link in my accounts dashboard. However, when I visited Ades Blog, I wonder how he can have a 125×125 kontera referal button on his blog.
This has lead me to email the kontera’s support and basically they only offer their Affiliate programme to publishers who met the following requirement :
- Publisher must be in good standing with Kontera.
- Publisher has to run our Content links for at least 3 months.
- Publisher revenue of $100 or more each month.
When a site signs up through your Affiliate Link, you will receive 10% of their Net Revenue for the first year.
Out of the 3 requirement, I think I have not meet the 3rd requirement 
Other than ades Blog, I noticed Hong Kiat also has participate in the Kontera affiliate programme. He has his own link .

Previously I used BCB or currently known as CIMB to clear all my US cheques (adsense, reviewme.com etc), but since I just recently open Al-Rajhi saving account, I decided to give them a try and if the charge is minimal I might continue to use them.
To deposit US cheque in AlRajhi Bank is similar to other bank process, go to ATM, insert your ATM/debit card and follow the instruction. But I confused a bit when the system ask for cheque amount in RM as US cheque is always in USD. So what is the solution ? Like what I did with CIMB many months ago, I just key in RM38.16 (my cheque amount is USD38.16).
